Another view



I walked up by the guard and took this second shot. He hadn't moved but from this perspective you now can see the temple on the grounds.

Paul and I walked down the path towards the visitors center. Nearly 100% of the visitors were Indian. Clearly many were excited to be here and the lovely colors of the saris worn by the majority of women present were exquisite on this sunny day.

The visitors center was a modern, red-stone structure built a level underground. Now rich with the history of the Baha'i religion Paul and I ambled over to the temple itself. We got a little closer but the requirement to remove our shoes married with some real jet lag pushed us to decide that we'd seen enough and thus we headed back out the way we came in.
